Seasonal Recipe: Farm Fresh Egg Frittata

There’s nothing quite like the taste of a farm-fresh egg — rich, golden, and packed with flavor. And one of the best ways to showcase that freshness is with a hearty Egg Frittata. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner, this simple dish celebrates the goodness of natural ingredients straight from the farm.

Why a Frittata?

A frittata is an Italian-style omelet that’s both nutritious and versatile. It’s a great way to make use of seasonal vegetables, herbs, and dairy — all while letting the eggs take center stage. Whether you’re feeding a family or preparing a quick meal after a busy day on the farm, a frittata is a wholesome, satisfying choice.

Ingredients

  • 6 farm-fresh eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (or any seasonal greens)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, feta, or your favorite)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add your chopped vegetables and sauté until tender.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring, until the edges begin to set.

Sprinkle cheese on top and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the frittata is set and golden on top.

Why Farm-Fresh Eggs Make a Difference

The quality of your eggs directly impacts the taste and nutritional value of your frittata. Our free-range eggs have richer, more vibrant yolks and provide superior flavor and nutrition.
